$45,815.00 - $81,143.00 Annually

Examples of Important Duties

 

  • Operates medium-heavy equipment including backhoes, front-end loaders, track loaders, skid steer loaders, tractors with attachments, hydro seeders, and soil screeners.
  • Performs daily maintenance of equipment, schedules maintenance and repair requests.
  • Manages and maintains Green Waste Recycling site activities and sanitation.
  • Manages and assists Commission staff and contractors loading materials and in grind waste activities.
  • Manages site and material data.

 Preferred Qualifications  

  1. Five years (5) of experience operating equipment including skid-steer and articulating loader.
  2. One year (1) of experience in organic material product production including mulch, compost, and topsoil production.
  3. One year (1) of experience in sawmilling and timber product production including operating a bandsaw or circular sawmill.

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

  1. High school diploma or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED).
  2. Three years of equipment operation, including a minimum of one year of experience using heavy equipment.
  3. Must possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements at time of employment. Driver's license must be unencumbered by restrictions, revocations, suspensions or points that could limit the employee's ability to drive Commission vehicles or perform driving duties required by the position of assignment.
  4. Successfully pass Commission medical examination.
