At Rainbow Water, we are a small team with a big mission. We are adding an engineer to our team to take on a key role in managing CIP projects and planning studies involving new, expanded, or rehabilitated water and wastewater facilities.

Join us to act as a cradle-to-grave project manager, perform developer and other plan checks, contribute to the District's long-term planning, and perform related work for the Engineering Department. The engineering group is a small group of just six team members, so you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects.  

To be successful in this role, you will need impeccable project planning and time management skills and be able to exercise professional judgment and initiative in developing solutions to complex problems, interpreting policies and requirements, and determining appropriate action plans.

Generous compensation: This is a series classification, and the District is open to hiring at any level, depending on the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate. Pay ranges are as follows:
Associate Engineer: $89,891 - $130,467 annually
Engineer: $103,478 - $150,002 annually
Senior Engineer: $118,994 - $172,525 annually
This position is eligible for up to a 3% cost of living adjustment July 1, 2024.
