The Three Valleys Municipal Water District (Three Valleys) located in Claremont, CA. is a wholesale water agency and a member agency of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, that provides imported water to approximately 500,000 within Los Angeles County covering a 133 square mile service area. Three Valleys is a recognized innovator and leader in developing supplemental water solutions for its customers including having a critical role in management of multiple groundwater basins. Their customers include four cities, one mutual water company, two investor-owed utilities, two water districts, the California State University, Pomona campus, the Boy Scouts Firestone Reservation and a groundwater management JPA. A seven-member Board of Directors, who are publically elected by divisions, governs the District. The District has 24 budgeted staff positions, a FY 2017-18 total operating budget of $60,900,000, and a current capital budget of $3,560,000.
 
A relevant bachelor’s degree (a master’s degree would be a plus), and ten years of progressively responsible executive or management experience in the water industry, including experience in the operations or administration of an appropriate public utility. California experience preferred.
