Job Description

A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc., an Engineering News Record Top 210 firm and a ZweigWhite Hot Firm, provides multidisciplinary services including engineering, environmental, landscape architecture, surveying, subsurface utility engineering, and construction administration and inspection. Services are provided in the Eastern Region of the United States for a variety of public and private clients.

 

Nearly 500 strong, in 17 offices, AMT is seeking a SENIOR WATER RESOURCES MANAGER, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, to assume a key role at the firm’s Mechanicsburg, PA office.  A bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering and a PE is required and prior experience with PennDOT and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is preferred. The candidate needs to possess a strong transportation and civil background in water resources projects including hydrologic studies, hydraulic modeling, TMDL/BMP, stormwater management, drainage, E&S, scour analysis, waterway permitting, and other activities related to water resources.  A master’s degree and stream restoration experience is a plus.

 

Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word, CADD programs and HEC-RAS is required. The applicant must be able to work well in a team and organize and prioritize tasks. Strong work ethic, verbal and written communication, and computer skills are also required for this position.
